We decide to get married. As we are saving for deposit for a house we wanted spend as less as possible. First thought was I uk only we and witness- then his mum and my godmother as my mum past away year ago. But then people find out we will ask brothers and sisters and cousins. And from 5 people 20. After whole conversation and consideration we decide rent a hall and do as much as we want. First thought was only dinner and rent a pub room but cost will be the same really.

We boom the hall with was £150. Unfortunately they cancel on us as if you rent hall in catholic’s church you need to be married in church. Aparently any church – we marry in the office. We start apply for another hall to rent. The cost for the night is around £200- tables, cutlery, sound, kitchen included. We check alcohol and rent lager keg with 88 pints of bees £180. I start buying bits and pieces of Facebook and ebay to make buffet for quests. I will be posting details how it’s going and whole cost of the wedding.

By the way we spend on a dress me £20 and my fiancé suit was £21. I was lucky I didn’t want white dress so when they closed bridal dresses shop they gave whole samples to charity shop. Without second thought I bought dress with tag of £230 for £20. Then few says later we were in M&S and there was men sale. Trousers were £9 top £12. £21 it is. We have it in June – wedding in February so with small plans it’s possible to have outfits for a wedding for £42.
